Nestled in a verdant setting just minutes from Sarlat and renovated in a chic country style, the estate seems straight out of a romantic film, blending the charm of an old farmhouse with a gentle and relaxing atmosphere. It features welcoming reception spaces and accommodations furnished with antique pieces, and offers unique outdoor areas with its panoramic terrace, gardens, and forest.

A breathtaking view and a thousand possibilities
The Domaine offers several spaces for your ceremony, each with its own unique ambiance:
• a shaded terrace with exceptional panoramic views of the Dordogne Valley, accommodating up to 100 seated guests, ideal for the dinner, the drinks reception or the secular ceremony
• a reception room, Le Patio, air-conditioned and heated, also accommodating up to 100 seated guests for the dinner
• a former tobacco drying barn, built entirely of stone, accommodating up to 70 seated guests or becoming the ideal place for the party
• as well as the gardens and woods surrounding the Domaine for relaxation or a secular ceremony
Charming and welcoming accommodations
The property can accommodate up to 56 people in 14 double rooms and a family suite in the hotel, as well as five cottages.
To ensure guests don't need to drive after the party, the estate is surrounded by cottages, bed and breakfasts, and campsites just a short walk away.
An estate at your exclusive disposal for an intimate wedding
During your event, the entire estate is reserved for your private use from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon, allowing you to enjoy this exceptional moment in complete privacy with your loved ones.
Included in the exclusive use of the estate are:
• the terrace, reception rooms, and catering kitchen
• accommodations for 56 people
• the outdoor areas (courtyard, gardens, park, forest, private parking)
• rectangular wooden tables and chairs for 100 people
• a security guard on the evening of the wedding
As well as access to wellness facilities such as the heated swimming pool, the relaxing room (for a massage before the big day!), and recreational equipment (pétanque court, ping-pong table).
The Domaine's Extras
In addition to pre-wedding planning to meet your needs on your wedding day, several options are available:
• On-site wedding planner on your wedding day, allowing you to fully enjoy your day with complete peace of mind, thanks to Anne-Laure, the owner and event expert.
• On-site rental of furniture and decorative accessories.
• Option for your guests to pay for their accommodation directly with the Domaine. This amount will then be deducted from the exclusive rental package.
• Festive evening (fire pit or gourmet platters) the night before the ceremony and/or Brunch the day after the ceremony.

Describe the most beautiful wedding that has taken place in your venue
Beyond its beauty, every wedding is above all unique. Each couple makes the Domaine their own, both in the layout of the spaces and in the decorations, in order to add their personal touch, their desires, and their story. For some, the terrace will be the place for the meal, for others for the cocktail reception, or even for the secular ceremony. Between the panoramic terrace, the shaded courtyard, the patio, the stone tobacco drying barn, the wooded park, and the forest surrounding the Domaine, the venue offers so many possibilities that no two weddings are alike. Now it's up to you to create yours!
What is the most unique characteristic of your venue?
The incredible view over the Dordogne Valley and the Caudon Cliffs. You can enjoy this view from two locations on the estate: the panoramic terrace and the owners' private terrace. Hidden from view, the latter remains a favorite spot for newlyweds to take intimate photos.
What atmosphere or style characterizes your venue in 5 words?

Can the Domaine be privatized for several days?
The basic package includes three days and two nights, from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon, but you are welcome to reserve the entire estate for additional days.
If you would simply like to stay a few days before your guests arrive, without reserving the entire estate, that is also possible. We have 15 hotel rooms and 5 cottages available for you to stay on-site and finalize the last details.
And of course, if you and your loved ones wish to extend the magic, you can also book rooms after the wedding.
Finally, each guest has the option to pay for their own accommodation. The cost will then be deducted from your package.
Are we free to choose our vendors?
You are free to choose your own vendors. If you wish, we can recommend trusted professionals we have worked with before (caterers, photographers, DJs, florists, etc.).
We don't live locally to organize our wedding: how can you help us simplify the organization?
Anne-Laure, the owner, has several years of experience organizing events for both French and international clients. She can help you with all the arrangements, guide you to the right vendors, and advise you on your choices so that you can simply enjoy your stay and your wedding day. This support is based first and foremost on listening, ensuring that your wedding is truly yours, reflects your personality, and tells your story. Regular meetings (via video call or phone), progress reports, and access to personalized tools allow for a stress-free planning process.
What can our guests do during their stay at Domaine de Malet?
Privatizing the Domaine allows your loved ones to gather in a welcoming setting, enjoy the various spaces for relaxation (relaxation areas, swimming pool, massage room), share a dinner around the fire pit, play a game of pétanque, and simply spend time together.
Your loved ones can also take advantage of their stay to explore the region: the Sarlat market on Saturday morning, visits to the fortified towns of Domme and La Roque-Gageac, and discovering the most beautiful castles of the Périgord Noir (Beynac, Castelnaud-la-Chapelle, Milandes), all just minutes from the Domaine.
In addition to all these prestigious sites, they can go for a swim in the Dordogne River (a five-minute walk away) or explore it by canoe, rent bicycles to cycle along the Dordogne, or hike the many trails to discover the different corners of the region.

We also offer furniture (armchairs, sofas, high tables, desks, etc.), decorative items (vases, candlesticks, demijohns, antique telephones, vintage suitcases, etc.), and tableware (plates, cutlery, glasses, cups, etc.) directly at the estate for a vintage and/or rustic style.
These options are also available if you reserve the entire estate for a longer period.
Is cleaning included in the booking?
Yes, cleaning of the accommodations and reception areas is included in the package. The caterer usually takes care of the kitchen before leaving. We simply ask that you put away the furniture, remove the decorations, and take any bulky items (garbage, glass bottles, and cardboard boxes) to the designated area 500 meters from the Domaine.
Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately, for hygiene reasons in our accommodations and reception areas, animals are not allowed on the Domaine.
