The setting is superb: charming interior, magnificent grounds, we were able to have the cocktail hour outside on the terrace and in the park, dinner inside under a magnificent timber frame and a starry sky of fairy lights, and finally, the next day in the park where we had set up the tables for brunch, next to the pool, in the shade of the trees! Cathy and Laurent were impeccable in managing the brunch and the quality of everything served and prepared, in addition to being lovely people. We don't regret our first choice, which was a responsive decision. They are very organized and offer numerous services that ease the burden on the bride and groom during the hustle and bustle of planning. We booked the lodge, the driver, and the night bar, and everything was impeccable. One small drawback regarding the rooms and lodge: a lot of walking, so it was difficult with our parents, but nothing insurmountable. We had a sensational surprise with a general power outage due to thunderstorms and extreme heat, as was the case everywhere in Gironde that weekend. Tough luck! But Laurent was able to manage the situation and find us backup generators to ensure the essentials. Our friends at Enedis were able to get everything back up and running just as we were about to sit down to dinner—perfect timing, we'll remember it!A great experience with Cathy and Laurent!
