Nestled in the heart of the Gers, in south-western France, Château Saint-Germé is an exclusive-use estate offering every couple an exceptional setting in which to celebrate their wedding. The entire estate is yours for the weekend, from Friday at 2 p.m. to Sunday at 6 p.m. — or longer, depending on the package you choose — so you can make the most of every moment of your celebration.
One estate, several settings
The château grounds offer several options for your ceremony, both indoors and outdoors, with the majestic Pyrenees mountain range as a backdrop.
For your reception, two characterful venues are available:
The Orangerie, a 500 m² space accommodating up to 350 guests, features crystal chandeliers, oval and rectangular tables, 170 upholstered chairs and a 300 m² terrace overlooking the château. A terrace adorned with festoon lighting and a professional catering kitchen complete this space, designed for large celebrations.
The Bergerie, a more intimate venue measuring 200 m² and accommodating up to 110 guests, charms guests with its exposed stone walls and beams, its large fireplace — with the option of a roasting spit — and its starry ceiling, creating the perfect setting for unforgettable evenings.
Both venues have toilet facilities accessible from outside, designed to preserve the surprise for your guests until the very last moment.
The château, a beautiful setting for your preparations
The château’s ground floor opens its elegant salons to you for your preparations and couple portraits: the piano room for one of the partners and their loved ones, the mirrored billiard and library room for the other, and the meeting room, the perfect setting for an unforgettable first look.
Upstairs, the Marie-Antoinette Suite offers a truly timeless experience. Facing due south, it boasts breathtaking views from its balcony over the grounds, the fountain and the Pyrenees. Its spacious bathroom, featuring a walk-in shower set within the turret, completes this exceptional cocoon for your wedding night.
Welcoming all your loved ones
The estate offers accommodation options designed to bring your family and friends together on site:
L’Auberge Hotel offers 16 comfortable double rooms, featuring air conditioning, memory-foam bedding and marble walk-in showers, providing 32 sleeping places with views over the château or the village.
Le Castel, a fully equipped holiday rental sleeping up to 6 guests, features a kitchen, living room and spa, offering a more independent setting for your loved ones.
In total, up to 40 adult guests can be accommodated on the estate, in addition to serviced pitches for motorhomes and campers.
A tailor-made experience
Three exclusive-use packages can be adapted to suit your wishes, from a single-day hire to full private use of the estate over several nights, with options including on-the-day coordination. A selection of à la carte services — including a brasero, fireworks, photo booth, children’s entertainment and décor — allows you to personalise every detail.
