From RENNES or the airport, take the D177 (direction REDON), exit the D177 at SAINT JUST (exit after PIPRIAC). Go to the center of the village and take the road behind the church, direction Sixt-sur-Aff. When the road forks, turn left (smaller road with a sign megaliths, pond of Val). Follow the road for about 3 km. You will pass through a small hamlet called Pourbreuil. The road then goes to the right and passes over a small stream. You will see the castle on the left. Take the second entrance (marked Château du Val) rather than the first (marked Le Val) because it leads to the farm.
