In 2018 and 2019, in collaboration with the interior architecture agency Rinck, the family home was redesigned to create an elegant and warm hotel. The architectural and decorative concept is a tribute to Burgundy and its territory. The development of the various spaces, the creation of the Orangery, the maintenance of the woods, the reorganization of the gardens and the choice of plantings, are all achievements which contribute to restoring the nobility of the Château de Saulon.
In its current form, the estate extends over 27 hectares. It has 42 rooms, distributed between the castle and its outbuildings. Each of them offers a breathtaking view of the surroundings: the swimming pool or the park for the castle, the river or the woods for the farmhouse, and the French vegetable gardens for the pavilion. The current estate is also decorated with several water features, in particular the remains of the old moat of the first castle, 2 rivers which cross it, and a pond at the bottom of the park.
