The property of the Château de Mauvilly was acquired by my paternal grandparents, Joseph and Andrée Hegner in 1972. It was love at first sight for my grandparents and the start of a great family adventure.
Optician for 15 years, we, with my husband and our children, made the decision to take over the family property to give it a new lease of life.
We therefore undertook major modernization and renovation work: complete repair of the electrical network, sanitation, complete installation of a pellet heating system, replacement of a large part of the windows and entrance doors... We had to a good year of work to create 4 guest rooms, each with their private bathroom.
Everyone participated: brothers, sisters, parents, children... A great family adventure!
Our rooms have been open since June 2018. They have been classified 4 ears by Gîtes de France.
In the summer, we open a 7-hole “country” golf course in the castle park. This private golf course is available to our customers.
