Château de Malliac

He settled in the 12th century in the South-West of France on the territory of a Roman notable and during the four centuries that followed, he and his descendants left their indelible mark on the region. They were, in turn, crusaders or consuls and participated in the construction of the village fortified town (the oldest in Gascony). They are part of these local personalities who have left us fortified castles, cathedrals and passionate legends. ​ Later, in the 16th century, one of their descendants is said to have initiated his entourage into the rites of Armagnac, the oldest eau de vie in France. At the beginning of the 20th century, the family of the current owners acquired the estate and developed its own brand of Armagnac there, to the point of placing it among the most sought-after values ​​in French gastronomy. ​ The "Vignes de Victoire" have taken over. They produce two Gascony wines for the property, one white and one red, reserved exclusively for visitors to the Château. WEDDING Our greatest wish: Here at our place, you are at home! We do everything we can to prepare the setting for this big day. You can privatize the entire Château for two nights or more (except July and August: minimum three nights) in all seasons. ​ You will thus benefit from two of the largest reception rooms of character in the region for events of 50 to 500 people.
