Château de la Tourlandry

An absolutely wonderful place full of magic. The owners (who do everything to make you feel at home) of this 19th century castle have gone to great lengths to preserve it as it was at the time, with the same rooms, the same furniture and the same decoration. It is a privilege to be able to stay in such a place, the same place where Napoleon III used to stay. (Review in Spanish)

We celebrated our wedding in this magical place. The flowery exteriors and the beautiful castle made for dream settings. We celebrated the secular ceremony at the back of the castle and the reception at the front. Everything had been planned and thought of by the owners with great care. Their welcome and their sense of organization helped us a lot to make this day stress-free. Our guests were all delighted, thank you for everything Château de la Tourlandry.

We reserved our place 2 years in advance, and during all the preparations we were accompanied by the owners of the castle. We were able to benefit from a magnificent setting that met our expectations. We had planned to spend the whole day outdoors (ceremony, reception, meal, opening ball) but we also had a plan B in case of bad weather. Great setting for an outdoor wedding, it was ideal! Beautifully wooded and flowery, several areas of shade, not negligible when it's hot. There is room to walk around, set up wooden games, the children can run around! Lots of little hidden corners, perfect for our couple photos taken during the meal. Our guests loved it and so did we!

Our choice for this castle was a real favorite. It was a rainy autumn day, and yet the magic of this place had its effect. Nature dominates all around the castle, the moat and its boat add a romantic touch to this already enchanting and bucolic castle. The park is full of surprises, little corners of paradise for photos. Inside the castle we are immersed in the heart of a second empire atmosphere, everything has been redone by our lords to perfection.
