History It was at the Château d'Avelin that Louis stands out by getting involved in the region as mayors, deputies, senators and regional councilors. Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, grandson of Baron des Rotours, known for his production of great wines, decided to install a museum in the castle dedicated to the wines of his different Estates in order to bring the family castle back to life.
