Especially after their caterer bailed on them and the bartenders didn't show up. They stepped in and saved the night. And this is on top of being a beautiful venue with great facilities. They were great on keeping us updated on everything that they were working on and getting the venue set up for our big day! Words cannot describe how beautiful it is out there! What happens if there is inclement weather the day of our event?
Alberta’s weather can be unpredictable, and while outdoor ceremonies are undeniably beautiful, they do come with a touch of uncertainty. In the event of severe weather, we’re happy to connect you with trusted local vendors who can provide tenting options to ensure your ceremony remains comfortable and protected – rain or shine*.
*This will incur an additional cost – to be determined by the specific vendor.
Do you offer overnight camping?
We do not offer any overnight stays, however we are happy to provide contact information on several campgrounds within a 5-10 minute drive from us including the Pigeon Lake Provincial Campground which rents out urts for a different camping experience. In addition, we are a mere 15 minute drive to the Country Inn at the Village of Pigeon Lake.
Do you offer shuttle services to and from your venue?
Wondering about being able to enjoy a few drinks without worrying about you or your guests getting home safely? We have you covered! The Woven Willow has several shuttle service companies that we can connect you with that offer our clients a customizable, affordable and reliable chartered shuttle service for you and your guests – to and from our venue!
Do you offer catering services?
We do not offer any catering services on site, giving you the opportunity to plan your wedding reception with the hospitality experts of your own choice. If requested, we do have a preferred vendor list.
Can we supply our own decorations?
Although we supply a variety of rustic, elegant décor pieces, we want your day to have your own personal touch! If you have a specific color or décor item you would like included, just ensure we have it on hand several days prior to your event, and we will set up the décor you provide.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Our venue is wheelchair accessible, but please keep in mind we are in the country and there is no concrete (grass and gravel landscaping), making it a little harder to navigate in.
Do you offer bartending service?
Yes, for an additional fee, we will provide two licensed bartenders for your event, however you will be responsible for providing the liquor and the liquor license. Your liquor license can be ordered online at:
