The Hangar Flight Museum

The Hangar Flight Museum is a venue located near the south end of the Calgary International Airport which specializes in hosting weddings and many other events in its facilities. This venue is rich in history, considered the first aviation museum in Canada, it offers couples a unique setting to host their wedding ceremony and/or reception. All event spaces are located within a historic World War II building that will take you and your guests on a trip through aviation history.Facilities and capacityThis museum offers 2 spacious facilities for your celebration. The Main Hangar, surrounded by vintage aircrafts and artifacts, is an ideal space for hosting larger wedding receptions as it can accommodate up to 200 guests. The Tent Hangar is recommended for wedding ceremonies that are also surrounded by items that are a part of the history of aircrafts.Services offeredThe Hangar Flight Museum offers couples a number of services geared towards their wedding day celebrations. These services include:- Sound / PA system - One event per day - Outside vendors Other facilitiesAmong it's other facilities, you can find the Lancaster Room and Memorial Room which are great for meetings or other smaller functions. These event spaces have a capacity for up to 50 and 20 people respectively and can be combined with other rooms depending on the size of your event.Other services- School tours - Birthdays - Summer camps - Aircraft exhibits - Corporate events - Fundraisers
