The Doctor's House has hosted weddings in Kleinburg Village for over 30 years, on a historic estate with gardens, a chapel and three reception halls.
The spaces
The Garden Room seats 80 to 100 guests with a garden-view setting. The Country Fare holds 140 to 160 in a warmer, more classic room. The Great Hall takes 200 to 240 guests. Weddings here start at 80 guests; couples planning smaller celebrations are looked after by XXI Chophouse, the estate's restaurant, which hosts intimate events on the same grounds.
Ceremonies
Vows can be exchanged in the vintage chapel, the Rustic Heritage Ceremony Room, or outdoors on the grounds. The on-site ceremony includes a personalised rehearsal, an in-house officiant, a live pianist and a photo permit.
What is included
A four-course plated dinner, a one-hour cocktail reception with passed hors d'oeuvres, a seven-consecutive-hour premium bar and a late-night station. Room rental, linens, chairs, administration and gratuity carry no additional fee. Couples also receive a complimentary day room, coat check and parking.
On the day
An Event Manager, Venue Greeter and Restroom Porter are assigned to every wedding, and a dedicated wedding manager coordinates vendors and the day itself.

Is parking complimentary? Can guests leave vehicles overnight?
Yes, parking is complimentary. Please remind guests to bring their parking tickets inside for validation. We have 250 parking spaces available.
Guests may leave vehicles overnight if necessary and return to pick them up during business hours.
How do I access the Overnight Bridal Cottage?
An access code will be emailed to you the day before your wedding. The code will become active at your scheduled check-in time.

Are pets allowed?
Yes. Pets are permitted in ceremony spaces only. Service animals are permitted in reception areas with appropriate documentation.
Pet owners or designated caretakers are responsible for cleaning and disposing of any pet waste or accidents.
What are the minimum and maximum capacities for each room with a dance floor?
- Garden Room: 80–110 guests (over 100 guests, dancing takes place in The Doctor's Study)
- Country Fare: 140–160 guests
- Great Hall: 200–240 guests
Will someone be on-site coordinating my wedding?
Yes. Your package includes a Logistics Manager who will oversee the event and help ensure everything runs according to schedule.
Is the venue accessible?
Yes. We offer elevator access, ramps, and accessible washrooms.
What time can vendors begin setup?
The venue opens at 10:00 a.m., and vendors may begin setup any time after that.
How long is the bar service?
Bar service runs for 7 consecutive hours. Additional service time may be added for an extra fee.
Are photo permits required for the gardens?
No. However, the gardens are shared among multiple wedding parties. Your Event Manager will provide the day's schedule so you can plan your photography timeline accordingly.
