Bright and spacious, the 13 glass chandeliers shine in the sunlight and wedding guests can enjoy natural day-light and unparalleled city views. The Queen's Park Ballroom is the perfect wedding space for a larger reception, with elegant wood-paneled walls that can accommodate up to 350 guests. Shangri-La Toronto offers an elegant and intimate setting for couples looking to celebrate their wedding in the heart of downtown Toronto. From beautifully designed event spaces and elevated dining to luxurious accommodations and exceptional service, every detail is thoughtfully considered. With a dedicated Events Manager guiding you throughout the planning process, our goal is to make your wedding experience feel seamless, personal, and truly memorable; from the first site visit to the final dance.
Can we schedule a venue tour?
Absolutely! I’d love to show you around and walk you through our spaces, menus, and wedding offerings.
Site visits typically take place Monday to Friday from 10am-5pm, due to events taking place on weekends and in the evenings. Just reach out to book a time.
Do you offer menu tastings?
Yes! Menu tastings can be arranged and are available for a fee. Tastings are typically scheduled during the week based on our event calendar.
Can we customize the wedding packages?
Absolutely. We’re happy to discuss modifications to help create a package that works for your celebration.
Can we bring in outside catering?
Our catering is provided by our in-house banquet kitchen. External catering may be considered with approval and is subject to a 100% landmark fee.
Can we have a late-night station?
Yes! We offer a variety of late-night options that can be added to your wedding package.
Can we host our ceremony at Shangri-La?
Yes! Ceremonies can be hosted in select event spaces, including the Museum Room and Queen’s Park Ballroom. Please note that we do not host ceremonies on their own, as our event spaces are booked based on a room rental fee and a food & beverage minimum spend. We would be happy to discuss the options available and help you find the space that best suits your celebration.
Do you offer accommodation for the couple?
Yes! We offer wedding accommodation options, and I’d be happy to discuss what is included with your wedding package.
Can we bring our own vendors?
Yes, couples are welcome to work with external vendors, subject to Shangri-La Toronto’s vendor requirements and policies.
Can we bring our own DJ or AV company?
Yes. You’re welcome to source external AV, although additional hotel service fees may apply depending on the equipment and support required.
