Situated in Vancouver's West End is the Roedde House Museum, a superb late-Victorian house made in the Queen Anne revival style and an excellent venue for a vintage style wedding. Constructed in 1893 for the family of Gustav Roedde, one of the City's first bookbinders, this magnificent building has been truly restored to authentically represent the daily life of the Roedde family during the 1890s and early 1900s.Facilities and capacityThis stunning museum venue acts as a great place to hold a beautiful and classic celebration. The first floor provides exquisite living and dining rooms which are able to hold up to fifty family and friends for a reception and thirty guests for a seated event. The surrounding outdoor space also offers an elegant atmosphere.Services offeredFor insurance purposes, one or more staff members will be present. A entertainer booked by the couple has the option to use a 1983 Steinway piano which sits in the parlour. Their 1980's kitchen is equipped with a modern fridge, dishwasher and microwave that can be used.In addition, China cups and saucers are available for use but any required tableware and a liquor license must be provided by outside vendors. If necessary, the museum is able to recommend fantastic vendors for the future newlyweds.
