From January 16, 2023 until late 2023, MOA will be closed to accelerate the completion of the Great Hall seismic upgrades, already underway. These upgrades to the Great Hall, and other building improvements, are critical in order to upgrade the resiliency of the Museum and protect its irreplaceable collections in the event of a major earthquake. As a result, we regret MOA will not be able to accommodate any facility rentals in 2023.The MOA Grounds are impacted by the construction. While we expect to accommodate rentals using MOA’s indoor spaces in 2024, the Grounds will not be suitable for use again until the summer of 2025.MOA can accommodate weddings up to 100 people.
