THE CEREMONY We are dedicated to your vision and offer you the unique opportunity to exchange your vows in our romantic woodland setting. Wander which ever trail you choose and you will come upon the charming elevated pavilion that has been engineered with the same beautiful, old wooden timbers as the barn. Your guests will be seated and surrounded by gardens, overlooking the ravine as they await your arrival under the dreamy canopy of the maple trees. MAIN BARN & LOFT Welcome to the main gathering area at Ivy Ridge and allow yourself to step back into time, onto the threshing floor of our heritage barn. It was here that our forefathers separated the grain from the husks and filled the granary after the harvest. Our family has meticulously refurbished this level of the barn and has successfully maintained its historical ambiance, while creating a magical place for your reception. The granary that once stored wheat & barley has been converted into beautiful washroom facilities. The loft that used to store straw and hay is available for extra seating and or a lounge area with balcony views to the main floor below. Take in the brilliance of the vaulted ceilings, hand hewn beams and chandeliers that canopy the amber hued pine floors throughout the 4000 square foot area. A stunning wrap around verandah has been added as an open extension to this incredible space to offer spectacular sunset views of the Niagara Escarpment, ridge and woodland terrace below. This timeless & exquisite setting for your dinner and reception will comfortably accommodate up to 210 guests.
