Gibson Centre

Despite our big, beautiful exterior, we are a hidden gem at the centre of New Tecumseth and feature a variety of rooms to suit all your celebration and corporate needs. From baby showers to retirements, or business meetings to dream weddings, our events team will work with you to create a unique and meaningful day for you and your guests. Additionally, as a charitable not-for-profit organization, your business supports the Gibson Centre's mission to enhance the arts and culture in our community. As a welcome place for everybody, all floors of our stately building are fully accessible by our glass-encased elevator. The Gibson Centre is a historical wedding destination located in the heart of Alliston, Ontario. Built in the year 1889 and rich in culture and heritage, this venue reflects a perfect blend of elegance and romance. Facilities and capacity The venue can easily host celebrations for both intimate and large gatherings. Separate dressing rooms are provided for the bride and groom for use on the special day. The venue only hosts one wedding per day. The performance hall on the main floor has the capacity to seat 150 guests and can easily accommodate 220 guests for a standing crowd. It also features a huge stage area that is available for use. Services offered The excellent special events team will assist you in every step of planning and executing the event. They offer marvelous catering and bar services. Some of their services include sound, lighting, and equipment. Location Gibson Centre is located approximately an hour from Toronto Pearson International Airport. It is close to local attractions, such as the Earl Rowe Provincial Park, Museum on the Boyne, Dufferin County Museum, and Tottenham Conservation Area.
