Café Bicyclette is a French restaurant and a stylish wedding venue, located in the popular French cultural hub and event space La Cité Francophone in Edmonton. The hub has several places for your wedding day, including the Café Bicyclette, which provides catering for all La Cité Francophone weddings.
The venue is charming, cozy and best suited for intimate receptions with the following capacity:
- 50 seated guests
- 60 standing people
Other event spaces at La Cité Francophone accommodate between 60 and 220 guests in Small, Large and Great halls.
Ceremony locations on the lovely grounds at La Cité Francophone include:
- Outdoor patio: Available year-round for ceremony and reception
- Rotunda: Holds central location in the hub and has seating for 120 people with an option to expand the capacities with extra seating on the balcony
Venue Rental Inclusions
Each wedding at Café Bicyclette includes:
- Access to the venue between 9 am and 2 am
- Tables, linen and chairs
- Dinnerware and glassware
- Parking for 160 guests
- Large and wheelchair-accessible washrooms
- Access to terrace

Café Bicyclette Wedding Menus
Catering at Café Bicyclette includes:
- Selection of canapés & Hors d’oeuvres: Arancini, Quiche, Shrimps, falafel sliders
- Platters: Cheese, fruit, pastry, charcuterie, vegetable
- Lunches: Cold wraps, Burger bar, Grilled chicken bar, A la carte
- Evening dinner: Four-course wedding meal with: salad, vegetables, protein option, side starch and dessert
The venue accommodates allergies and special dietary requests. If you bring a wedding cake, the team can cut it and plate it at a cost.
Bar service includes:
