The Loft: Versatile Event Space
One of the Cabot Shores properties, a Studio Loft, easily converts from a sleeping unit to an event space. The built-in kitchenette with a bar fridge, microwave and kitchen facilities can be used for catering prep or refreshments.
The Loft has a full kitchen downstairs, available for rent.
In addition, the property has large sliding glass doors, which open into the spacious outdoor deck with great views of Cape Breton Highlands and the ocean. You can use the deck for your ceremony, cocktail hour or alfresco wedding party.
The space includes two bathrooms and can be reconfigured to sleep 8 guests.
The available equipment includes folding chairs and tables, a hot tub and ping pong table.

It was a small wedding, about 30 people. We booked 3 big cabins and 2 yurts over 3 nights. The facilities were good and the lodge is a spectacular venue for putting your feet up by the fire or taking in some impromptu live music. Everyone had a fun and memorable time. Besides the wedding itself we kayaked and made fresh apple juice by hand from the apples in the orchard (it was fall).We had a wonderful time at our wedding at Cabot Shores. It was a small wedding, about 30 people. We booked 3 big cabins and 2 yurts over 3 nights. Our wedding was just over 40 adults with some children. The owner and all the staff were very friendly, accommodating and went above and beyond with everything to help us have the best time.
