Every celebration ends the same way: hundreds of great photos are taken, but they stay scattered across dozens of guests' phones. Some land in a group chat, some in DMs, and most are never seen by the people who hosted the event. [I saw this happen at a family celebration where the best candid moments only surfaced weeks later, if at all.]
The existing fixes ask too much of guests. Shared albums need the right app or account, and photo apps need a download most guests won't bother with during a party.
I built Event Capsule so collecting photos takes one scan. Guests point their camera at a QR code and upload from their browser, with no app and no sign-up. The host stays in control: they can review photos before anyone sees them, and choose when the gallery is revealed, so the whole group relives the day together, like a digital disposable camera.
It exists because the people who were actually there should get to keep the memories they made, without anyone chasing photos afterwards.
