Welcome to Yering Station
Considered a jewel of the region, Yering Station marks the birthplace of the Yarra Valley with history spanning two centuries. It was on our estate that the very first vines were planted in the state of Victoria. Throughout our estate, you are consistently met with remarkable history balanced by timeless, modern-day architecture.
Arriving at Yering Station, guests are greeted with the sight of our magnificent avenue of Elm trees, planted in the mid-1850’s as a wedding gift to the then-founder’s bride. Through the Michael McCoy designed gardens, guests make their way to your chosen ceremony location. Following the ceremony, guests proceed to the grand terrace to enjoy drinks and canapes as you make your way around the estate for photography. Dinner is then served in the superb architecture of our signature restaurant.

The property boasts several areas for your ceremony, from a background of modern architecture and exceptional views to several unique garden settings or the sanctuary of our heritage-listed Historic Barn. All weather contingencies can be catered for at a moment’s notice. Ceremony fee includes up to 80 chairs in the Historic Barn, up to 80 seats in outdoor locations, a registry table, photographic privileges, bridal car access and an alternative venue for if the weather does not permit your preferred location. Ceremonies take place at 5.00pm during peak months and at 4:00pm in off-peak months.
Reception Dinner: Signature Restaurant
A spectacular stone and glass building sets the scene for this stylish and relaxed venue with expansive views of the Yarra Ranges. Seasonal menus are designed by our head chef, featuring regional produce creatively used in contemporary style dishes.
Minimum requirements to book:
Monday - Thursday: Min. 30 adult guests ($1,000.00 venue hire fee incurred for events with less than 60 adults)
Friday: 60 adult guests
Saturday: 80 adult guests
Maximum: 150 guests | Monday - Saturday
The restaurant is not available on Sundays or public holidays.

It was everything we could have hoped it to be and a lot of that was because of Bec, her organisation and willingness to help us with anything and everything😊 We had the best time and couldn’t have asked for more and have had many compliments from all our guests saying how fantastic the afternoon and night were. The best wedding venue, delicious food and wine, great atmosphere and the best time! Bec was absolutely amazing over the course of planning our wedding and on the day! It was everything we could have hoped it to be and a lot of that was because of Bec, her organisation and willingness to help us with anything and everything😊 We had the best time and couldn’t have asked for more and have had many compliments from all our guests saying how fantastic the afternoon and night were. My only complaint was that my favourite server was stationed on a different area of the dining room to where I was sitting, so my wine glass happened to run empty for almost a full minute at times. Each guest commented on the incredible quality & quantity of the food, drinks and exceptional service. We have been to Yering multiple times and have found this to be consistent across the board. The incredibly talented events coordinator, Bec, was a pleasure to work with. She was always two steps ahead of us. To everyone we met, and everyone we didn't, thank you all so much.We genuinely cannot write a review glowing enough to accurately reflect how incredible our experience was. Yering Station itself is so stunning. Rebecca was excellent to work with in the lead up to the wedding, Noah took great care of us at the reception, and the food was excellent. They were responsive with emails, eager to help with any questions we had, everything was really easy and well organised. The food was incredible all the guests loved it and people were very happy with the serving sizes - definitely no one going home hungry. Amazing wine obviously. The venue is gorgeous and we got great photos. All the staff on the night were incredible. You absolutely can't go wrong with Yering Station.I cannot recommend Bec and her team enough.
