How many guests can the venue accommodate?

Woodland Estate can host up to 250 guests for a formal sit-down reception and up to 400 guests for a cocktail-style event. We cater to both formats, so whether you're planning an intimate dinner or a large celebration, we can tailor a package to suit your vision and guest list.

Is there accommodation available for the wedding party?

Yes. Glamping accommodation is available on the property, meaning your wedding party can stay the night and make a full weekend of it. It's a rare and special touch that turns your wedding day into a genuine getaway for the people closest to you.

What kind of catering do you offer?

Woodland Estate provides full in-house catering for both sit-down and cocktail weddings. Formal receptions include a choice of two or three-course alternating menus served to your guests, accompanied by house wines and premium tap beer. Cocktail packages feature roaming canapes and food stations with drinks service included. All menus are managed by our on-site team, so you're in good hands from start to finish.

Where is Woodland Estate located and how do guests get there?

We're located at 1075 Heidelberg-Kinglake Road, Hurstbridge, just 30 minutes from Melbourne CBD. The venue is also just a short 10-minute walk from Hurstbridge train station, making it easy for guests travelling without a car. For those driving, there is ample on-site parking available on the property.

Can we have a weekend wedding?

Yes, weekend weddings are available at Woodland Estate. We know the weekend is when most couples and their guests can fully switch off and celebrate together, so we welcome Saturday and Sunday bookings. Combined with our on-site glamping, a weekend wedding here can genuinely become a full celebration across two days.

Do you have a recommended list of suppliers?

Yes. We have established relationships with a range of trusted local suppliers including celebrants, photographers, DJs, and live bands, all of whom know the venue well and can help bring your day to life. We're happy to make introductions and recommendations to suit your style and budget.

How long do evening functions run, and can we extend?

Evening receptions run for four hours as standard. If you'd like to keep the celebration going, additional time can be arranged at an extra cost. Just let our wedding coordinator know during the planning process and we'll make sure everything is locked in ahead of your big day.
