They had a small ceremony out the front of the homestead under one of the beautiful fig trees. They had photos taken straight after the wedding with family and friends. Great spot to mingle and we were also able to take a quick look through the homestead and grounds. The reception was held at the same location in the reception hall. A well set up timber building a short stroll from the homestead. As you can see this is a fantastic venue for a wedding. Attended my brother-in-law's wedding here. Visited on a Sunday, and was greeted warmly by the team in the Gift Shop and Reception for tour tickets. I was lucky enough to have a one-on-one tour of the heritage main homestead, support buildings and gardens with the wonderful Bruce Soper. His knowledge of both the local history and property was extensive and fascinating, with lots of special extras on the tour like an original Rolls Royce Phantom and the original blacksmith shop.
