swanky place for a romantic gate away in the city

The Benson is a classic guilded age hotel run under the auspices of Hilton, and it's excellent brand standards. The property is classy in a way that only time and the best materials can achieve. The lobby has towering recessed ceilings adorned with crystal chandeliers, inlaid fireplaces, and plush seating throughout. The rooms are smaller, but also have the classic guilded age touch. Everything was spotless. Staff was very responsive to all needs and extremely helpful. Great location, too.

Very friendly, helpful, and inviting staff.

The room was comfortable, the beds too. We were there for a wedding and spent time in the bar area for breakfasts and Happy Hours. Special customer service mentions to Bobby Wong, Sandy, and Jonah. Very friendly, helpful, and inviting staff.
