With fine wines and stunning views, Sutherland Estate’s magnificent cellar door is exclusively available for your wedding.
Watch the sun setting over the Yarra Valley as you sip on sparkling from the spacious timber deck.
The elegant, light-filled cellar door can comfortably accommodate up to 100 guests for a sit-down meal, or 160 for a cocktail style event. We have hosted wonderful weddings for larger numbers, using an additional marquee on our rear lawn.
An open fireplace brings a cosy, warm and romantic ambience to those cooler nights. On warmer, Summer evenings you can dance to your heart’s content, under the stars on the deck.
Ceremonies may be held on site and, with the exclusive use of the venue, it is a photographer’s heaven with many stunning and versatile photographic opportunities.
A variety of menus are available, from cocktail style through to delicious gourmet meals. Menus can also be specifically designed to suit your individual requirements.
Beverages, including our award-winning estate wines, are available on consumption or with an inclusive package.

Both the Sparkling Tempranillo and Blanc de blanc are stand outs. We we also so fortunate to stay in the tower accommodation for the long weekend and our every need was met - Cathy and Angus are generous hosts and very knowledgeable local ambassadors. The wines were all delicious loved every single one and our host Merrin (so sorry not sure how to spell your name correctly!) was so friendly and knowledgeable. The view is amazing, the hospitality is very good. Our room was so cute! Very cosy place to spend in the cold. The perfect proposal spot either inside by the fireplace and stunning views, outside on the deck with views in every direction or with a platter and bubbles on a picnic rug on the lawn. A visit to Sutherland Estate will have you falling in love and quickly adding it to your favourite places to visit list. Cathy and Angus are the most welcoming of hosts.What can we say but WOW!!!
