The Library has been one of Melbourne’s most distinctive landmarks since 1856. Our magnificent 19th-century galleries and spacious contemporary wedding venues include the Isabella Fraser Room, with its clean neoclassical decor, and the spectacular The Ian Potter Queen’s Hall, now meticulously restored to its 1860s glory.
Other popular wedding venue locations at the Library include the domed La Trobe Reading Room, Cowen Gallery with its salon-style artworks and the world-class Conference Centre.
Together with our exclusive event partner and caterer, Showtime Event Group, we offer a full suite of services including catering, security and support staff to ensure your wedding is a truly memorable occasion.
