The capacity of Kianinny Bush Cottages for a weekend wedding is 150 guests, so you can celebrate your love from Friday afternoon to Monday morning with charming private cottages and modern facilities.

Facilities at Kianinny

Kianinny offers two venues for reception:

Bush Pavilion: Capacity: 120 seated or 150 standing guests; features fairy lights and semi-enclosed setup, includes heaters for year-round wedding receptions
Lakeside Pavilion: Capacity: 80 seated or 100 standing guests; Overlooks the lake and features a cozy atmosphere

The accommodation facilities include 21 private cottages with an additional 3 lodges. Kianinny Bush Cottages offers special prices for wedding guests and group booking discounts (subject to availability).

Other on-site facilities include modern kitchens for rent by third-party caterers.

You can exchange vows in several locations:

Lakeside: Peaceful site with a tranquil lake and close to the Lakeside Pavilion
Bushland: Location under the mature gum trees, close to Bush Pavilion
Beach: Tathra coastline is close to the venue and suitable for the ceremony

When you make the decision to have your wedding at Kianinny Bush Cottages, you are choosing to hire out our whole site. This includes the hire of one or both pavilions, as well as our 21 two bedroom cottages. We have the ability to sleep 150 guests and as a part of the package you and your guests receive 3 nights accommodation for the price of 2. $450 per Superior Cottage, $400 per Standard Cottage - price based on 2 Adults. Minimum cost: $9250 Additional guests - $30 per adult, $20 per child, per night. We have 2 commercial kitchens that can be hired for private catering from $600 each. Bar Hire - Includes ice, fridges and RSA-certified team members for a 5-hour service. $750 for a second bar location (includes extra 1 hour service) Bride & Groom must supply beer, wine, mixed drinks & cider for this service. Ensuring safety and peace of mind for your special day, we make it a priority to provide security services during the evening of your wedding. This is a requirement of all bookings to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. 4 Hour Service (approx 8 pm -12 pm) *times may vary* $450 - 1 Security Guard - Up to 100 guests $900 - 2 Security Guards - Over 100 guests

What is the maximum guest capacity for weddings?

We comfortably accommodate groups of up to 150 guests across our ceremony spaces, reception venues, and self-contained cottages.

How do we secure our wedding date?

Dates are secured upon receipt of a signed agreement and a $1,000 non-refundable booking deposit.

How many guests can stay on the property?

We have 21 two-bedroom cottages and three larger lodges, allowing your whole guest list to stay together on-site.

Do you offer a discount for wedding guest accommodation?

Yes, wedding bookings include our exclusive guest package: Pay for 2 nights and get the 3rd night free (Friday through Monday stay)

Can guests pay for their own accommodation directly?

Absolutely. Accommodation costs can either be covered by the hosts or booked and paid for individually by your guests.

You can choose between two natural settings: our peaceful bushland pavilion or our scenic island platform overlooking the lake.

What event equipment is included in venue hire?

Venue hire includes 30 ceremony chairs, reception tables, chairs, white tablecloths, bar service (excluding beverages) and RSA-certified staff.

What happens if it rains on our wedding day?

Our covered Bush Pavilion provides an undercover wet-weather backup option for ceremonies and open-air receptions.

Can we bring our own caterer or food truck?

Yes. We offer two fully equipped commercial kitchens available for private hire starting from $600 each, allowing your choice of third-party caterers full culinary access.
