Description

Fondly know as the pub in the paddock, it has had a very interesting history of boom and bust. Built in 1906 by one of the first female publicans in Western Australia, Mary Ann McMullen. On the death of Mary Ann McMullen in 1923, she bequeathed the fine two story hotel to her father, Alfred Dinsdale who was the Mayor of York at the time and the history of the hotel has grown from there. Rhonda and Murray are the current owners, taking over in 2021 from April and Rodney. If you would like, stop in for a cold beer or a beautiful meal and experience a feel from a building from another time, with it’s unique setting. Come by and get a feel for the history. Make your Special day one to remember at Green hills Hotel When you walk into a building you know straight away if you like it or not . The perfect wedding or function day needs that special something and we have it. Old world charm mixed with character and warmth that spreads to all that enter. Call us to find out more.

Amazing spot! It was really good food
Amazing spot! It was really good food and the service was wonderful. It's well worth a visit if you like country pubs! I stayed in one of dongas which was really tidy and had all the essentials. You can camp in the carpark for free too. We ate outside so it was too dark for a photo of the food but the parmy was superb.

Great place, lovely staff and owners
Great place. Lovely staff and owners. Good affordable meals and I’m all for a place that doesn’t overcharge a bottle of wine. Free camping on the grounds. But have a beer. Free facilities but $5 showers. Don’t be that person. Have a beer and pay for showers. Free camping and free facilities for a beer and a paid shower is more than worth it. Beautiful historic pub surrounded by farmland.

Phenomenal food, every meal is impeccable
Phenomenal food. The pork ribs were soooo delicious, and the coleslaw was the best we have ever had. The chips were crunchy on the outside and perfectly fluffy inside. Every meal we have eaten here has been impeccable. We love travelling to this Inn. Service is top notch, too. A great quiet country pub where you can really relax, chat with the locals, and enjoy a great meal. They also have vegan options . Highly recommended. Can't wait for our next dining experience.
