Located in the exclusive suburb of Springfield, in the Adelaide foothills, Carrick Hill was the generous and gracious gift of Sir Edward and Ursula, Lady Hayward to the people of South Australia. It is a scenic vista of terraces, sweeping lawns, tall hedges, and intimate gardens sprinkled with sculptures and shady trees. All this is wrapped around the magnificent homestead a preserved home filled with art, flowers and antiques. The historic home of Adelaide's renowned Bohemian couple The Haywards was donated to the people of Adelaide as resource for the arts and culture.
Driving up the tree-lined avenue and stepping out onto the immaculate lawns wrapped by manicured hedges you couldn’t feel further from the city, yet Carrick Hill is only a 15 minute drive from the CBD.
This beautiful estate boasts a pleached-pear arbour, native bushland, cypress pine walkways, orchards, rose beds, tree-lined avenues, lawned terraces and an abundance of flowering blooms. You can choose from many of these spaces for your ceremony.
