As a professional editorial, wedding and event photographer in the Los Angeles and Chicago area, I have had the opportunity to work in a ton of different venues over the years, but photographing anything at Chez is always something I look forward to. Their team of professionals always has every little detail covered and they work meticulously with all of your vendors to make sure that everything runs smoother than you could ever imagine. All of the couples I've had the opportunity to photograph here have raved about their experience, and the beautiful clean modern lines of the space have made my experience as a photographer there beyond fun! I love that I never know what I am going to walk into because its such a blank canvas, but I've never been disappointed. If you're looking for a one of a kind space that will help you through every step of the process of planning your event, Chez is one of the best in Chicago, if not the country... and it'll be one of the best decisions you make for your day.

Chez is such a great space for creating your vision; it can really morph into whatever you want it to be with some decorations and the appropriate lighting. Plus, because Chez is a BYOB venue, we were able to work with Prestige Liquors to save a TON on alcohol, compared to all-in-one venues. There was some issue apparently with one of the sinks in the bathrooms during the evening, but we were warned about it and there were additional bathrooms available within the venue for those who could do stairs. We worked extensively with Lauren Smith at Chez, and she was an absolute delight to work with. She was responsive via email and text, and sensitive to our unique needs in terms of loading in and out decorations, given that we were having a wedding in Chicago while living out of state. She even Skyped with us so we could see the venue since we were unable to come in in person initially. In general, the staff at Chez was great and we would highly recommend Chez as your wedding reception venue!
