We Do Wedding Films Full Description
A two-person team, working professionally in the media industry as a camera operator and an editor, we film a select few weddings each year out of a love for the craft and a passion for what we create. As such, we approach every film with the enthusiasm and eagerness to go above and beyond as a brand new filmmaker, but with the experience and portfolio of experienced professionals. Our filming style is non-formulaic, we do our best to blend in with your guests and capture the day honestly and organically as it develops, cutting the moments we gather together into a cinematic, emotional memory of your day, for you to keep and cherish forever.

Personal Message from the Manager

Name of Wedding Contact: Scott Craig
Thank you for your interest in our wedding films. There are lots of wedding filmmakers available and I would say that we are not right for everyone. Our approach is understated, candid and non-intrusive - with the aim of providing a film that feels authentic and cinematic. This means our films tend to be less flashy and extravagant. So if we sound right for you, please do get in touch, otherwise I wish you the best of luck with your search and congratulations! Scott

Frequently Asked Questions
(10)

What is your most memorable wedding?

The first wedding I filmed as a junior camera operator. It was at Babington House, which was a lovely venue and the day was very special - and everything was new to me. I discovered my love for weddings there - as well as discovering one of the best wedding cakes I've ever tasted.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

authentic, candid, genuine, non-intrusive, cinematic

What about your business are you most proud of?

We are honest - we let people know if we think we are not the right supplier for them.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

This too shall pass

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I once saw the Bride's mother pinch the Groom's father's bottom. That was a very personal touch.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We chat over email and phone to come to an agreement on film(s) and cost, then we meet for a virtual coffee to get to know each other and go over plans for the day. I'll send an email a few days before the wedding re-confirming my planned movements for the day, just to give you some peace of mind. The day after the wedding, we'll send a teaser with some a few of the best moments, so you can relive some of your day straight away! Then we deliver the rest of the agreed films within one month, on a private landing page that you can share with friends and family.

What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?

On a drone, we filmed a bride's dress being caught on fire by an errant sparkler.

What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?

Titanic. I'd be minted.

What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?

We choose our soundtracks based on the personalities of the couple, the story of their relationship and the events on the day.

Describe how you got into videography.

I used to steal the family's video camcorder on holiday and make embarrassing films that I'd make my family sit through. I hope they've all been wiped from the face of the earth now.
