Yarnton Manor is the ideal location for a memorable wedding day! A perfect setting for a perfect day, Yarnton Manor is a unique wedding venue for a magical occasion. With fairy tale architecture and spacious grounds, this is one of Oxfordshire’s most marvellous wedding venues to tie the knot at.
Yarnton Manor is set amongst acres of unspoilt Oxfordshire countryside. We are able, on request, to provide exclusive use of the Manor for a fully private and tailored wedding experience.
The largest room in the Manor can seat up to 80 people for a ceremony or wedding breakfast. For more guests we suggest a marquee on one of the lawns. The Back Lawn makes the perfect pitch for a marquee for up to 350 people. With access from the Main Hall of the Manor, your marquee will have a splendid setting, facing the south side of the Manor. For smaller weddings, the Old Tennis Lawn offers a perfect sheltered spot for a traditional tent for up to 200 people.
Even though Yarnton Manor does not have a license to hold civil ceremonies, we want to ensure couples have the wedding day they’ve dreamt of, with a celebratory ceremony held at the venue, either inside (rooms seating 6 to 80 guests) or outside in our beautiful gardens (seating up to 350 guests). This ceremony is officiated by an independent celebrant. The legal registration of the marriage has to be completed by a registrar at a register office on a separate occasion.
If you would like a church ceremony, the beautiful 12th Century, St Bartholomew’s Church, is located just 20 yards from the Manor, along an avenue of lime trees. The Church can accommodate 80-100 people and has a special atmosphere when it is filled with guests and flowers. It is possible, with permission, to be married in the Church if you are from outside of the parish. It is also possible to arrange a religious blessing in the Church following a legal ceremony elsewhere.
Accommodation is available on selected dates.
