A day we will never forget!

I cannot speak highly enough of everyone at Woodlands Park. From Grace our wedding planner who ensured everything ran smoothly and gave us so many options to choose from, suitable for all budgets. Poppy on the reception desk who had a beautiful smile and offering to assist us at all times. David and Sheldon were involved in looking after us on the wedding day. Last minute changes to table set up was no issue for them and Sheldon took care of every detail. The staff who served our wedding breakfast did so with an impeccable level of service that made everyone feel special. All of our guests commented on how amazing the food was as well as the service! Grace took the time to speak to our suppliers before our big day and there was not a single hiccup on the day. We stayed in the master suite which was beautiful. The bed was so comfy, room service was excellent. We had a bottle of champagne waiting for us on our return which was such a lovely touch. I really can’t thank them enough for how well they looked after us on our special day.

Perfect day in every way

After all the planning and ordering and usual stress of planning a wedding, Woodland’s Park Hotel provided the best day we could have wished for. From arrival to departure, from the delicious food to the exemplary service, Cheyenne (senior wedding coordinator) and all her team supported us from the day of booking our wedding to helping us load all of the wedding paraphernalia into the car on departure. Nothing was ever too much trouble. She was always professional, yet very friendly, always around to give support yet never intrusive. Our room was delightful and all the little added touches made us feel very special. We can’t think of a single thing that could have bettered our day. Even the sun shone intermittently.

Leaving the M25 at Junction 10 Head up the A3 towards London. Leave at the first exit you come to and take the third exit off the roundabout. Drive through Cobham on the A245 (Stoke Road) and head out towards Stoke D'Abernon. Pass the Plough Pub on your right before going over the railway. Turn left into Woodlands Lane after the Garden Centre. Woodlands Park Hotel is half a mile on the right. Leaving the M25 at Junction 9 clockwise On the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto the Leatherhead bypass sign posted Kingston A243/Esher A244. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit sign posted Esher/Oxshott (A244). Travel along Oxshott Rd for 0.5m, take the 1st left on the roundabout onto Oaklawn Rd, signposted Cobham/Stoke D'Abernon. Cross over the M25 and continue until the T-junction. Turn right onto the A245 Woodlands Lane, sign posted Queen Elizabeth Foundation. Pass under the M25 and the hotel is 0.7 miles on the left. The team cannot agree on a specific location, which we think shows just how diverse Woodlands Park is to different tastes. We have listed our top three below: 1. Tree Swing - a beautiful wooden swing attached to our large tree in the garden. When you take your photo you get the gorgeous exterior of the hotel in the background. 2. Our Staircase - a stunning grand traditional wooden staircase, with the original oak paneling of the Grand Hall surrounding it. This is perfect for couple photos, family shots and even bridal party shots. 3. Our Balcony - a diverse location that is above our Grand Hall and is surrounded by the original oak paneling of the building as well as the beautiful stain glass ceiling.
