Waxham Barn

We got married at Waxham Barn a few weeks ago and we are still on a massive high! The venue itself is amazing and can so easily be decorated to suit your own needs and tastes. Local vendors and suppliers were aware of the venue and most had relationships with Monica (the coordinator for the barn) which made it very straight forward. We managed to get photos on the beach and some of our guests told us that they loved being able to go off to the beach and spend time outside.

My husband and I held our wedding reception at Waxham Barn on 1st Oct 2022. We chose the Barn because it is beautiful and feels very authentically Norfolk with flint stone walls, with our favourite beach <10 min walk away too (we took all of our guests to the beach for a quick drinks prior to arriving at the Barn which was lovely). Overall we had the best day of our lives at the Barn, and we’d always recommend it to anyone looking for a unique dry hire venue by the sea.

We had our wedding party in Waxham Barn which is a really beautiful and historical venue. It accommodates a large party and definitely is perfect setting for a rustic style wedding. The barn is a very flexible venue so we could choose our suppliers freely. It is also a 10-minute walk from the beach so our guests were able to take lots of lovely pictures. All in all, we had a really great time at the barn!

This is the most amazing place to have a wedding, ours was in May 2022. It’s dry hire, so you have to bring everything in, but that gives you complete freedom to make it how you want. The beach is only a 5 minute walk away, and is also great for photos (and a wedding paddle!) Monica - the barn’s wedding manager - is fantastic, she can’t do enough to make sure your day is extra special. It was wonderful to work with her, and she is a real credit to the Trust. Waxham Barn was the beautiful historic setting for our wedding in July 2022. It acts as a blank canvas for you to shape your wedding/event exactly how you wish. It's huge size feels cathedral-like, but with a rustic charm for the prefect summer vibes - especially as it is only 5 minutes walk from sandy beaches!

I could not possibly write a more positive review if I tried! We had our wedding at the incredible barn at the beginning of July 2022. Yet on our first visit, even on a bleak January weekend, the beauty of the barn shone through! It is perfectly unspoiled with so much character. Albeit a very large space, with a little vision and the amazing services of Smoke and Wildwood, Array Furniture and Quirk Lighting, it wasn't daunting at all! We loved that the ceremony could be conducted at one end, partitioned off, and the dining at the other, without the need to move anything around. However, with all that being said, the best thing about this stunning venue is the wonderful Monica. She is an absolute superstar! We genuinely felt so cared for, nothing was too much trouble and we had such a blast! Waxham Barn will forever hold such treasured memories and we cannot wait to return as husband and wife!
