Fantastic venue, with a service to match
An absolute pleasure to work with, nothing was too much trouble or too small to consider. The staff's attention to detail is exemplary, every single person is friendly, helpful, and a delight to talk to. Both the golf club and the country club are beautiful buildings, the sea view has to be seen to be believed, and the hotel rooms are large, comfortable, and well maintained. To top it all off, the food is deserved of awards, the bar is well stocked, and all prices are more than fair. I would unhesitatingly recommend Thorpness for any event, or even for a midweek meal in their restaurant!

The events team were always available to answer queries and provide guidance along the way with a special thanks to Mel who was brilliant, and made us feel relaxed throughout the planning process. The day itself was unforgettable with the beautiful backdrop of the sea. The food was delicious and the drinks flowed freely all day, night and again the following day."

"What a wedding"...
...was the phrase that we heard from guests throughout the days following our wonderful wedding at Thorpeness Country Club. The staff were utterly wonderful, friendly and efficient. Mel and Blaize were also fantastic wedding co-ordinators and ensured every aspect of our day was how we envisaged it. The food was a particular highlight of our day - it was genuinely delicious. From start to finish, it was just magical. Thank you to the staff for making our dream wedding a reality!

Thank you so much for all that you did in the lead up to Saturday and on the actual day. We found it really easy to communicate with you and work together over the course of the last 18 months, which definitely helped to take away some of the stress! Our day was absolutely perfect and we couldn't have wished for a better setting. We were so impressed by how smoothly the day ran and all of the staff on the day were fantastic. We also received so many compliments on the food which was fantastic.
