The Bay Tree Hotel, Burford

We hosted our wedding at The Bay Tree Hotel in February - we had exclusive use and had 40 guests. Everything related to the venue was just fantastic - the spaces are just gorgeous and it was exactly what we wanted a weekend where all our guests could stay and we could celebrate. The venue is well priced for the area and the payment process is smooth giving you plenty of time to space out payments. Laura was absolutely amazing in the run up and made sure she knew all the details we wanted. The run up and the day ran so smoothly thanks to her and the Bay Tree team - all of who were so wonderful and kind on our wedding day and any time we encountered them beforehand. The food, the drinks, everything was fantastic and as we have seen guests over the past 6 weeks everyone has been glowing about the Bay Tree - from the venue, the food, the staff - we all loved it and it will always be a very special place to us. Thank you Laura and the whole Bay Tree team!

We cannot overstate just how brilliant the Bay Tree Hotel was as a wedding venue. From start to finish, Laura, Becky and the whole team were a complete joy to work alongside making the process totally stress free, extremely fun and really really special. They made us genuinely feel like we were the only couple they were working with and the most important wedding in the world! In the run up, Laura replied to any of my emails or questions almost within the same working day and was on top of the entire process for us. The day was exactly as we had hoped, our parents were completely relaxed and so impressed by the staff. My VERY particular Grandfather who used to work in Hotel management himself told me 'everything was perfect'. Laura and Becky especially were incredible. So much so that my friends were all talking about how the staff were the best and such great value. We had a 60 person winter wedding and the stunning oak beams, stone flooring and open fires made it feel absolutely magical for a Cotswolds wedding. It was an intimate venue and honestly felt like it was our own home for the 24 hours we were present. Our golden retriever padded around without her lead on and sat under the table for dinner as if she was at home with us. Our meal was just gorgeous, the food was stunning and copious. We love generous portions! Perfect wine and the speed of the service was excellent. Everyone served at the same time and the courses running beautifully to schedule. We had a blast dancing in the conservatory to our band and then we had asked the Bay Tree if we could do After Party Karaoke in the bar which was a total highlight. Everyone was singing and dancing until late! The bar staff were chanting 'One more song' by the end. We want to thank the Bay Tree Team for creating completely magic day for us. We will never forget it and know how much work, experience and professionalism goes in to making weddings work this well.

We will be forever to everyone at the Baytree for making our big day so fabulous. Laura and the team are second to none - nothing was too much and the whole process was seamless from beginning to end! We and our guests had an awesome day - wish we could do it all over again! Thank you so much! 🤩

We are so unbelievably happy with the wedding we had at the Bay Tree Hotel this October 2023. We had 70 guests in the day which increased to about 90 in the evening and the venue was absolutely perfect for our day. The cosy pub vibes alongside the classy Cotswold interior made for a beautiful day and some stunning photos. The food and service was incredible - ordinarily you'd expect the quality of catering to fall for big events like this, but the canapes were delicious and the main meal had guests talking for days about how good the food was. The exclusive hire of the venue was ideal. The 21 rooms included in the price were stunning with some guests having already told us they'll be visiting again separately because of the stay they had. Laura and the whole team at the Bay Tree were incredible to work with from the moment we booked all the way through until after the wedding. They were incredibly responsive and so very accommodating of not only us as the Bride and Groom but also everyone who was present on our day. We could not recommend the venue more highly if we tried!

The perfect venue for a wedding. The building has so much character, and is the perfect size (has 20 something rooms) to allow most of your guests to stay on site. Downstairs it has cosy rooms like the library for smaller groups to chat, but also 2 big rooms for dancing and dining. We had an outdoor ceremony and the walled garden is perfect for the kids to run around and to take some lovely photographs. The Bay Tree team matches the wonderful venue, they were so friendly, attentive and accommodating throughout. We felt they made a big effort to make what we wanted happen and to help us personalise our day. They were really communicative and responsive on the run up to the wedding and fab on the day. The food and wine was also really top quality. We couldn't have asked for more, and would really recommend anyone to have their wedding at the Bay Tree - a really special place.

We fell in love with the Bay Tree Hotel on the first visit. It is characterful, charming, friendly and is available for exclusive use for weddings. The staff were helpful and friendly throughout and on our wedding day everything went like clockwork. The food was amazing and the service seamless. We had a wonderful day and all of our guests had a great time (in spite of the extortionate bar prices!)
