Full Description
Whether you’re planning a small, intimate occasion or a lively festival wedding, Maesbrook is the perfect setting. The gardens offer the freedom for children to roam and play, ample space for guests to camp instead of driving home and the opportunity for bonfires and live music. As we hold a marriage licence, both your wedding ceremony and your reception can be held in Maesbrook’s unique and beautiful surroundings. Maesbrook is a flexible setting for every kind of wedding and we can tailor your day to suit you. On site we have Maesbrook Barn, three cottages and a bridal suite. Whether you want to get married in the barn or in a field, there's 50 acres of private farm and woodland to unleash your imagination on. You can decorate and arrange the barn and its surroundings whichever way you want, to make your unique dream wedding a reality. Our barn has a built-in bar area, a stage ideal for performances and a dance floor for you to party. The beautiful grounds mean the sky’s the limit in creating your ideal wedding. You could hold a blessing under the oak trees, have afternoon drinks next to the lily-filled lake with the swallows flying above, drink champagne on the balcony as you watch the sun set over the magnificent Welsh mountains, and as night falls, pull up a hay bale next to the fire and share the laughter and good times with your guests. Maesbrook Barn and accommodation is exclusively yours to share this special occasion with your loved ones and an opportunity to make cherished memories together. If you're not too worse for wear the next day, there's plenty to keep everyone entertained. Lounge in the hot tub, take afternoon tea on the terrace, or play pool, table tennis and table football. In the summer months, enjoy a refreshing dip in the pond followed by Pimms on the lawn and a game of croquet. When night draws in you’re all set to dine under the stars with barbecues and a fire pit.

Personal Message from the Manager

Name of Wedding Contact: Andrew & Claire Wall
Hello, We're Andrew and Claire. We've been sharing this wonderful farm for nearly 20 years. We love an adventure as we love to sail and are keen cyclists. We set up the weddings business in 2012. In fact, we started it as a venue for our children to get married in (two down; three to go) so it's been created and built with all the love and care you'd expect parents would put into their children's weddings. We hope that our venue brings you as much joy as it has brought to our family.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

Releasing flower bombs instead of confetti for an environmentally friendly way of greeting the new couple, and creating more biodiversity on our grounds.

Describe your venue in 5 adjectives.

Blessed, picturesque, intimate, surprising, green

Where’s the best photo spot at your venue?

We always recommend getting married under the oak tree. Brides walk down from Maesbrook Barn to the old oak tree which is just steps away. By the afternoon, the sun is behind the bride, giving them a lovely glow as they walk down the 'aisle'!

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Champagne in the hot tub

What is your venue's most unique feature?

The vast fields and picturesque scenery all around us.

What part of your business are you most proud of?

The Barn which we renovated from scratch 20 years ago.
