Huge congratulations on your engagement and thank you for your interest in Glyngynwydd, a rustic, honest wedding venue in the Heart of Wales. An utterly gorgeous backdrop in an unspoilt valley with 12 acres of land that includes a woodland and a pond for your wedding photos. We offer a relaxed approach to planning your wedding without pages and pages of things you're not allowed to do. It's your day and we strive to make it everything you could wish for. As a venue we are licensed for the following: Civil Ceremonies, Blessings, Civil Partnerships, we also welcome Humanist Ceremonies and Renewal of Vows. We have 2 packages our All Year Round Wedding & our Micro-Wedding. For both it's the weekend (3pm Friday to 3pm Sunday). We require a £500 deposit at the time of your booking and the balance to be paid 3 months before the big day. The property is available for additional nights either side for £500 per night. If you’re stuck for ideas for catering and entertainment, we are more than happy to assist with this and make your day extra special! Package 1 includes: Exclusive use of the grounds, 2 ceremony areas, wedding barn, communal stables from 3pm Friday to 3pm Sunday. 2 nights accommodation for 19 people in 5 beautiful self catering cottages. Tables and chairs for 120 people. Ample free car parking. No corkage charge. Assistance with food / bar / entertainment / decorating options. Perfect day in perfect location
We had the most unbelievable wedding day. The ceremony in the woods was not only unique but also magical and perfectly portrayed our love for the great outdoors. The surroundings were stunning making for sensational photos. Carla (venue owner) was very approachable and would try her very best to make our dreams a reality whilst also keeping in mind our budget. Wouldn’t change a thing!

A Festival Feel
We had our wedding at Glyngynwydd and we couldn't have chosen a better venue, we loved it and our guests loved it too. It was so magical to get married in the woodland. It's such a beautiful place in a gorgeous part of Wales. It's great that you can put your own stamp on the venue decoration - we had festival flags, bunting and ribbons. Carla is amazing and responded so quickly to queries I had.

Simply wow!
Glyngynwydd wedding barn is the place to go to make all your wedding dreams come true! Set against beautiful rolling hills, with woodland and even a little stream on site you have the most amazing backdrop for a wedding. Not only that but you are able to plan the weekend exactly how you want it from decorations, to games, to suppliers, to on site accommodation and beyond. We're not traditional in anyway so to have found a place where we could bring to life our colourful, chaotic, joyous wedding was magical and we are so grateful to Carla for letting us do what we wanted. You only have to look at the venue's instagram to see how versatile it can be and how every couple has gone with something different and unique to them. Carla is a wonderful host always responding quickly to any questions, allowing us to visit the venue multiple times to take measurements etc. and even being on hand on the day rounding up our guests to make their way to the ceremony. She's just a lovely human and has created the perfect setting for an unforgettable day.

Beautiful and magical
We viewed the venue in 2021 and immediately booked it for our June 2023 wedding. Carla was amazing from the start. She welcomed us back several times from booking stage to planning stage and was always available to answer questions and queries. We used the whole weekend to spend time with our guests, an I do bbq Friday night, the wedding on Saturday and breakfast on Sunday. When your wedding guests are saying “can we do it all again” you know you’ve had the best wedding, my lovely friend and colleague messaged me after the wedding stating “that was the best wedding I have ever been too and that’s including my own wedding”’ it was absolutely beautiful and so magical. It’s hard to put into words how a venue can add so much magic to a wedding but you’ll see and feel that if you book here. One of the couples who attended told us they felt so much in love again that they looked at their wedding album for the first time in 15 years when they got home. Only you can decide if you want to marry here but from someone who has experienced the beauty of the venue, the surrounding area, the amazing owner and all that comes with saying I do in this magical place, I advise to book it, you won’t regret it I would do it all over again every weekend if I could

Fantastic from start to finish
From the moment we finished viewing Glyngynwydd I think we knew it was where we wanted to get married. It was only the second venue we'd seen but we didn't feel the need to view anywhere else afterwards. Carla provided us with all the initial information we needed and throughout the whole process, from booking through to wedding day, she was unfailingly helpful and always quick with her responses. I was going to describe Glyngynwydd as a blank canvas to build your wedding off, as it is largely a DIY venue in that you bring in your own suppliers (Carla has a list of suggestions if you're not sure where to start), but I feel that calling it blank would do it an injustice as it's probably better described as an incredibly beautiful backdrop that you can create your ideal day around. For us, part of our ideal day meant having alpacas on site - an idea Carla supported with no hesitation. We chose to have our ceremony in the woods, which is a beautiful space, but for rainy days, or those who prefer a more covered setting, there is the, equally lovely, open sided barn. The fact that you have the venue from Friday afternoon to Sunday, meaning you don't need to rush to set up and tidy up on the Saturday, and that there is accommodation included on-site (as well as the option to pay for further accommodation in the form of pods and camping) is fab and very useful! We truly couldn't have found somewhere better suited for our wedding and would strongly recommend visiting this wonderful venue for yourself.
