Booked a photobooth package with My Sugar Plum events at a wedding fair - a 5* company, who were part of Complete Events at the time (this company has now sold it to Complete and we were not notified) and we were sold unlimited Photo Booth pictures with attendant with the photos being available after the event, post box, love letters, sweet cart and fresh popcorn. We paid £599 for the experience and received 2 photos per photobooth exposure, 1 for the guest book and 1 for guests to fight over, sweet cart for 30 people lasting 20 minutes (website advertises 100 people!), and popcorn which had been laid out all day and was stale - not fresh at all. Postbox containing money and cheques in cards not even locked/secured and not the one we wanted. No photobooth attendant, was told following our complaint the guy was outside operating it remotely in his car at 7pm (despite setting up at 10am). Had to chase our photos being sent to us which took 2-3 weeks. Also did arrange a £150 refund following our complaint when we went in the next day but yet to receive this still (despite being told continuously the finance team is processing it with no proof). We are going via small claims now due to poor communication and a lot of frustration with this company. Have held off posting a review but having given them plenty of time to rectify the issues I would urge any bride/grooms looking to book them to avoid as their customer service and aftercare skills are lacking. Our emails have been CC’d to the events co-ordinator, sales team, sales team manager and both directors with no response whatsoever. Shocking service - save your money and stress levels and find someone else!

Following my previous review which I can’t seem to update/edit, my complaint was escalated by Roxy in the sales team who was very helpful and understanding of my frustrations and finally dealt with by the director Joe who issued us the refund and satisfied our complaint in full.

Every Wedding is so personal so seeing some beautiful decorations knowing the Brides and Grooms have personalised the decorations to them is so lovely.

In front of the flower wall or starlight curtain. The beauty of hiring a marquee is your can choose your perfect spot.

Have you had any celebrity guest or wedding at your venue?

No, sadly not yet but we have hired our marquees to TV production crews.

Mini roast beef Yorkshire pudding with horseradish cream

What’s your favourite midnight treat?

Doughnuts, from our Doughnut wall. Popcorn from our Popcorn machine, and Candyfloss!

Our lining drapes on the ceiling of the Marquee, and the fact our marquees are brand new
