Personal Message from the Manager

Name of Wedding Contact: Tracey Warbey
I offer beautiful, bespoke wedding photography, which is shot in a modern and artistic way. I would describe my style as being documentary, therefore very natural, relaxed and generally using natural light. My aim is to capture special moments between people. I like to build a connection with each couple that I meet, enabling me to capture them at their very best – relaxed, happy and enjoying the moment.

We picked up the photos on Saturday and have been looking at them ever since. They're absolutely gorgeous, and everything we could have wished for in our wedding photographs. We love the lighting and the personalisation throughout. Thank you so much for doing such a great job :)

What is your most memorable wedding?

One of my most memorable has to be in 2018 during the 'Beast from the East' snow storms, where I had to dig my way out of the snow to get to a wedding. Don't worry... I made it!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Modern, artistic, relaxed, documentary, natural

What about your business are you most proud of?

Probably the relationships that I form with my clients. Wedding photography is a big investment and I pride myself on the service that I give to them from start to finish.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Do your research. Look outside of the venue's preferred supplier list and view a good range of photographer's portfolios. As tempting as it may be, don't just go for the cheapest to make a saving. You need to be satisfied with the quality of their work before you make any commitment.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Detail is very important and I love to see weddings where the couples have made a lot of things themselves, like favours or centre pieces. That sort of personalisation is really noticeable and something I think everyone can appreciate.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After an initial consultation by phone or email, we meet to discuss the finer details and to introduce ourselves in preparation for the big day. I also usually contact the client the week before the wedding to see if there have been any last minute changes. Clients are free to contact me at any time during the build up to the wedding if they have any questions or concerns. After approximately 4 - 6 weeks the couple's final images will be delivered to them on a branded USB at maximum resolution and watermark free, so that they can share them with their friends and family as they wish. I also deliver the images for sharing purposes via a private online gallery.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

A bride and groom couple time shoot, away from the party where they can relax and be themselves.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

Family formals with a difference - Funny faces!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Every wedding should have a contingency plan. Know your venue inside and out to hunt out the best locations for pictures before hand.

Describe how you got into photography.

I am fortunate enough to be surrounded by beautiful Cornish beaches, which inspired me take up photography with an emphasis on capturing seascapes and landscapes. In 2008 I bought my first DSLR and this opened my eyes to the ability to not only capture the moment, but to also add my own artistic twist to create something personal and with far greater artistic impact (with a little help from the stunning scenery!) In 2012 I became interested in creative portraiture and began displaying my work via the popular photo sharing website Flickr. It wasn’t until a year later that I discovered my true love: wedding photography. I decided to turn my passion into a career after an old work colleague asked me to photograph her wedding and here I am!
