Hello, my name is Richard Skins and I'm a UK wedding photographer based in Bournemouth covering weddings throughout the UK and Europe. If I turn the clock back ten years, this is something I never thought I would be doing, but I'm glad life has taken me in this direction as I believe it's the best job in the world, well for me anyway. I feel fortunate to have a career which allows me to pursue my love of photography, and use it to capture one of the happiest days two people can share! You're probably in the middle of planning your wedding, or you simply enjoy photography, either way, I'm happy you have made it on my Bridebook profile today. The quality of his photos are stunning

It has taken me a while to find the words that express how incredible Richard was through the entire wedding process. Even now, I'm not sure I can truly express our gratitude. Our wedding was postponed several times due to covid and every time Richard made changing the dates easy and was understanding throughout. Emails were responded to quickly. Not only was he incredibly professional, he made us feel like we were the only wedding (knowing full well he was fully booked to his eyeballs!)

One of the best decisions we made

We booked Richard to photograph our wedding in June 2022, and can honestly say that it was one of the best decisions we made, as his photos are absolutely beautiful and perfectly encapsulate the spirit of our day. Every time we revisit our wedding gallery we are reminded of how Richard managed to capture every smile, laugh, and tear in the room, and the joy and happiness felt by us and every guest at our wedding. Thank you so much Richard for giving us so many treasured memories to look back on

We really couldn't recommend Richard enough

After seeing my best friends beautiful wedding photos, we just had to book Richard for our wedding in December!! He was so professional and easy to work with from the very start to receiving all of our photos which we are in LOVE with. He captured some of the most special and funny moments during the day without us really even noticing he was taking a photo. He even got on the dancefloor late into the evening to capture some incredible shots of all our friends and family letting their hair down.

We are SO glad we booked Richard for our wedding! We were absolutely blown away by the photos when they came through, as were all our friends and family. Richard captured the day so perfectly from start to finish- the laughter, tears and everything in between. A brilliant documentary style photographer! Richard's pictures of my wedding capture such beautiful moments, every time I look at a photo I see something new that I didn't see before. It's honestly like a moment frozen in time. He was very professional but also very friendly and caring. Richard is the most talented photographer

Richard is the most talented photographer and did an incredible job of capturing our wedding in France. He produced beautiful, natural shots that captured the essence of the day. He was a pleasure to work with and very professional. It felt like he was in five places at once and took so many shots we will cherish. His attention to detail and the little extra touches, like sending the USB after the wedding in a beautiful presentation box with prints, made the whole process a real joy.
