What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Don't stress about the little things.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Normally after meeting the couple we talk to make sure we are a right fit then I someone some of my pervious weddings to spring any ideas they like and which they don't like. We then descuiss how the wedding day is going to run and give them tips on how long they need for photos before and after the wedding. Closer to the date I visit the venue sometimes with the couple if they are available. A week before I get a listed of the finally times day of order and group photos which is normally 10 or less different group photos with the bride and groom so they don't spend hours taking photos. On the day I would start with the bride taking the dress and flower details. Then photos with her and anyone at the venue getting ready make-up prep. I would leave 15mins-30mins before the bride to get to the ceremony to take some photos of people arriving and groom with his best men. After the ceremony spend 30mins getting photos of bride and groom and any group photos requested. After that is will documentary photos until the bride and group have 20mintues again to take some portraits usually after wedding breakfast.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
White umbrellas or clear ones not black or any logos on them.
