I’m Emily, a wedding photographer based in Hampshire, but will travel all over UK. I LOVE what I do, capturing all the special moments and emotions of your day; moments you might not have even realised going on, like a tear shed from your great aunt, or a funny conversation between your close friends, that’s set everybody off in fits of laughter! All these moments make your day unique to YOU and I try to capture these in a natural and documentary style way. It’s always a privilege to document the love, tears and laughter and that’s why I like to get to know my couples before their wedding day. I like to know what your interests are and what’s important to you. Do you want to focus on capturing a lot of group shots with family and friends, or just have a huge party, let your hair down and capture the fun?!

Emily transformed ordinary moments such as chit-chats during make-ups or playing with my flower girls into beautiful pictures. Love the pictures so much!
We arranged an engagement shoot with Emily and instantly knew we wanted to have her as our wedding photographer as she really made us feel comfortable, she understood our personalities and really made the whole process feel very personal.
I am in awe of all the moments captured, some that I was not even aware of myself. Having an Indian wedding with so many people can feel very overwhelming at times and the day flew by. Emily did a great job of capturing all the most important moments and I cannot stop looking at the photos since they have been sent to us. I really struggled to pick my “favourites” as I have just been selecting them all!

What is your most memorable wedding?
ohhh- that's a hard question! I have loved every wedding as they've all been so unique. The wedding I did in Sorrento, Italy will be one I'll definitely never forget as the scenery was out of this world and the couple were so cute- they had their baby in a sling when during the ceremony.
What about your business are you most proud of?
I'm just so happy to have worked with such amazing couples and to capture their stories.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Just try to enjoy it. I know it's easier said than done, I planned a wedding not so long ago, but don't let it turn into a stressful thing. If nothing goes to plan, then all that matters is that your loved ones are there to celebrate with you.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
When the father of the bride wrote a song to his daughter and sang it during speeches- I cried!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I usually like to make sure the couple have really checked out my style first. I always suggest a quick chat before booking, as it's a good chance to talk over all your exciting plans and check we're a good fit.
If the couple want to go ahead then all I ask is for a 25% non-refundable booking fee, then the remaining balance is due 1 month before their wedding day.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
As much as I'm all about the documentary approach, I do think it's super important to have a more formal shot of you and your family. These are often the ones treasured the most.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
My couples are super chilled and I have been lucky to be trusted to capture their day without a shot list.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
First off, don't let the rain bother you. It's meant to be lucky! There's always a plan B, or break in the weather. I love outdoor shots in the rain, as the weather is part of your story.
Describe how you got into photography.
I'm a mummy to 4 amazing kids- yes 4!
I started taking a crazy amount of photo's of them and really developed a passion for photography. I was asked by a friend of a friend to shoot their wedding, and I LOVED every second of it! I haven't looked back since and this is all I do now.
