I collaborate with open minded couples who are interested in a dialogue on their creative vision for their day. My style is organic, considered, and opulent and the floral designs I create should absolutely delight you and your guests. I truly believe collaboration brings about the greatest fulfilment of your vision, providing you with a deeply personal celebration beyond your expectations! I work with a limited number of couples each year which allows me to be truly committed to each client I collaborate with. For those feeling overwhelmed with the magnitude of choice available for every element of a wedding or large scale event, I can help curate and focus your vision. Life can be so busy, and I often find myself working with clients based in London and scattered across the south east. So whilst I deeply value face-to-face consultations and encourage site visits where possible, I am well used to communicating in whichever way is easiest and most convenient for you. I will work to make the process of choosing and designing your flowers as easy and joyful as it should be. Please note I have a minimum spend of £1500.

Nothing but heartbreak, disappointment and awful customer service
From the heartbreak of seeing the flowers delivered to the house to walking into the venue and being absolutely devastated. Then having to deal with Rachel in solving the problem has been stressful and even more disappointing. The completely wrong button holes and corsages were delivered to us. (Flowers of what we asked got and what we asked for attached). The flowers were withered and looked absolutely awful. When we arrived at the barn all the flowers were small and there were absolutely no dried flowers that we had paid for (keeping in mind the invoice stated there would be a mixture of fresh and dried stems). We paid £350 for what was meant to be a flower ball and then Rachel asked if she could change it to something that goes across the barn. Little did we know what we would get were tree branches tied together with five pampas stems hanging down (photo attached). The nightmare didn’t stop there. We sent an email letting Rachel know what had happened and her response was nothing that we could have expected. No matter what we said, Rachel didn’t listen. No apology but we were made to feel like liars and that we were the ones at fault. Back and forth with emails and still Rachel would take absolutely no accountability for what she had done. The only accountability she took was admitting she had left out dried flowers which we were left with an insulting refund. The process has been the worst customer service my partner and I have dealt with. In the end we had to accept a pitiful refund for the products we did not get as the toll it was taking on us was not worth taking it further. I will also now go to the problems we had before the wedding. Over a zoom call we discussed the colours of the wedding. Rachel didn’t take any account of what I said as I later got a WhatsApp messaged asking if any coloured flowers were okay. I had to ask the wedding coordinator at our venue to ensure that the right flowers were delivered. Worst of all, late in the evening on the third night before our wedding Rachel sends an email about potentially not being able to get half of the stands we needed. She discussed options. We took one of the options and asked for our £100 back (one of the options) as my partner and I had to order stands. Rachel completely ignored the message and the next day said she had gotten the stands. It was then a battle to get our refund back as we had already brought stands. Rachel of course never apologised but made it out like it was a good will to return the funds. If you are looking to trust someone not only with your flowers but to sort any problems out you will not get it. Instead you will be left devastated, frustrated and disappointed not only with the flowers but the customer service you receive. All we wanted was an apology and for accountability to be taken. We got neither.

Incredible arrangements
I have had the pleasure of working with Rachel several times. Her ideas and creativity go beyond those of any florist I've met before and I feel privileged to have had quite a few of her otherworldly displays in my home. She is a kind and caring person and will go above and beyond to deliver floral designs that will delight and amaze.

What is your most memorable wedding?

My most memorable wedding was last weeks Jamaican/Australian/English mash up! It was a riot of colour, shape, and a crazy mixture of influences! Having said that, my most memorable wedding is almost always the last wedding I've worked on so next week my answer will be different!

That I can provide a truly bespoke service for each of my clients.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Listen to your suppliers, they are experts! And if they are ANY good at their job, they will take a lot of care to listen to you too.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I've seen some really good table plans!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

We usually start with an email or phone call, after which I always try to meet for a face-to-face consultation if I can. From this I write up an estimate which will help you decide whether we're a good match.

What is the most interesting thing you have put in a bouquet?

I tend to steer clear of gimmicks and trends as I find flowers and foliage most interesting.

Is there a flower that has specific symbolism that you would recommend for couples?

I love using flowers and foliage with scent...not always at the top of a couple's list, but it adds something so special.

What is the most romantic flower and why?

There is no right answer to this! Romance is in the eye of the beholder so all flowers and foliages have the ability to inspire romance.

What should you do with the flowers after the wedding?

Preserve them by drying or pressing if possible. It's a lovely way to keep a very central and important part of your day. At least take them home or give them away to be enjoyed! Part of the beauty of flowers is their ephemeral nature so enjoy them whilst they last.
