What is your most memorable wedding?
I have too many wonderful weddings to pick as my most memorable, all my weddings are so special whether that's a small micro wedding or a large elaborate celebration, but one wedding does stand out to me as my most emotional, and it was a spring wedding for a wonderful couple at Peckforton Castle, as an independent wedding florist this was my first large scale wedding I remember stepping back after we had dressed the ceremony room and I actually cried! You never forget the feeling, and is why I do what I do.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
What about your business are you most proud of?
Im so very proud of my reputation and everything Taylor Made Blooms stands for. I love that my couples recommend me to their family and friends, it means so much to me.
I started Taylor Made Blooms on a very tiny scale through some very difficult times especially the past year which has been so very hard for many suppliers like myself, but with pure grit and determination I've continued to grow the business to where it is today. I love that I now have a large studio in the heart of the Cheshire countryside where I have plenty of room to create all my designs, store a large amount of stock/props to hire out for all your wedding day needs.
Im ever so proud that my work is now being recognised not only by couples but within the industry itself too, there's nothing better than being recommended by a fellow supplier. I pride myself on providing a personal service to each of my couples and with each wedding I can't help but 'grin like a Cheshire Cat' when I see how happy they are with my work.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Stay Calm! LOL , let the professionals take away all the hassle and stress and trust in your suppliers to know what they are doing!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
My typical process is to meet with each couple by appointment only, for a relaxed consultation then I provide a quote based on what their requirements are. Quotes are sent via email within a couple of days and if they would like to book we then go ahead with the booking process and stay in touch regularly throughout. Catch up meetings can take place nearer the time of the wedding for an opportunity to chat, go though wedding plans and finalise orders. My studio is a lovely place to hold my consultations, but I'm also happy to travel to clients homes, their venue and I can also provide telephone consultations if they are too far from me or too busy to meet to begin with.
