Do you host Civil and Humanistic Ceremonies on-site?
Yes. Talbot Hotel Clonmel is fully licensed to host civil, humanist and spiritual ceremonies in the hotel. We have various suites to choose from to suit your guest numbers
How many weddings do you host per day?
We only host one wedding per day to ensure we can give our full attention to our bridal couples and their guests.
Where do you go for Wedding Photographs?
We have some beautiful bright areas in the hotel very well suited to taking memorable photos.
We also recommend some local picturesque locations such as St. Patrick’s Well & Marlfield Lake which are both just a few minutes from the hotel. Other popular scenic spots include Cahir Castle and the Rock of Cashel a short drive away.
Where do you host the Drinks Reception?
We can offer you a choice of Drinks Reception areas to choose from. You may have it in the large spacious bright Foyer area of the hotel or in our private Golden Vale Suite where you and your guests can marvel at the choice of bottled beers, cocktails created by your own personal mixologist, prosecco coupled with a wonderful selection of hot & cold canapes of your own choosing.
Do you offer a Payment Plan
We appreciate saving for a wedding can be expensive so we endeavour to make is easy for couple to budget for this lavish day.
Once the minimum deposits are adhered to as per the Wedding Contract, we are happy to accommodate regular/intermittent payments to suit your individual requests.
Can the bridal party stay the night before?
Yes, we would be delighted to organise a rehearsal dinner or a more casual meal in the bar if preferred for the bridal party and their families the night before.
We also provide a small complimentary conference suite on the morning of the wedding of the wedding where you are welcome for your hair and make-up artists to help you prepare.
Do you offer next day celebrations?
Yes, why not continue the celebrations. We offer a number of options to allow the wedding festivities run on into the next day.
We offer private suites for buffets, use of our outdoor Pavilion area for BBQ’s or exclusive use of our Snug area of the Bar for Finger Food. All of these are ideal for the night before also
Is there a limit to the number of Bedrooms you can book?
Depending on the size of your wedding, we agree a block of bedrooms suitable to the number of guests you expect to invite. We are then happy to offer these bedrooms at a reduced rate.
• Are Confetti & Sparklers allowed
Yes, sparklers may be used outdoors and fresh flower petals may be used. But in keeping with our sustainability practices, we do not permit the use of confetti.
