Our wedding day was everything we had dreamed of and more, and the care and attention from the team made it even more special. A huge thank you to Deborah, Mary and all the girls on reception, who were absolutely wonderful throughout our stay. They were so friendly, warm and helpful, always going above and beyond and making sure we had everything we needed. Their kindness really meant a lot to us during such an important time. The hotel was beautiful, the food was fantastic, and the whole day was organised so seamlessly. Every detail was taken care of, allowing us to relax and enjoy every moment with our family and friends. The staff are the beating heart of this hotel. From our first meeting we knew that this was the hotel for us. We had a intimate style wedding of 40 guests. No request was no trouble and the staff were brillant with their advice and recommendations for local suppliers. Honestly took a lot of stress out of wedding planning. The food was absoutely incredible and our guests are still raving about it. We would recommend this hotel for any future couples. We had a short engagement having only gotten engaged in March 2024 and booked the Erris Coast after our first visit and chat with Deborah and Mary in April. From the very beginning the whole Erris Coast team were nothing short of amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and they were always willing to help with any query or request we had. The food on the day was incredible - our guests still talk about the beef nearly two years later! We had a number of guests with dietary requirements and it was really important to me that their meal was as good as everyone else's. The team delivered this even down to the last detail like the scones at our drinks reception! One of the things that really drew us to the hotel was the beautiful decor - warm, cosy and welcoming which was ideal on a cold, wet November day for photos. Walking in the doors to a blazing fire and the smell of mulled wine with all our guests chatting and enjoying themselves is one of our favourite memories of the day! Every staff member is so friendly and accommodating but our day was made all the better having Deborah and Mary at the helm and we cannot thank them enough for all their support in the lead up and on the day itself. We cannot recommend the Erris Coast Hotel enough to anyone considering booking their wedding. The decor, food and most importantly service are second to none. Erris Coast Hotel is located in Geesala, along Mayo’s beautiful Wild Atlantic Way, approximately 15 minutes from Belmullet and 10 minutes from Bangor Erris. Ireland West Airport Knock is approximately 1 hour 30 minutes away, Ballina Train Station is around 55 minutes away, and the nearest motorway is the M17 at Tuam, approximately 2 hours away. Complimentary on-site parking and EV charging are available. As we are in a rural coastal location, we recommend pre-booking taxis.
