It can be interspersed with a “good-natured” activity that you have organized yourself or that we have offered you. The meal is going well. It is as you wished: 2 dishes, 3 courses, 5 courses, in a cold buffet, with wines included or not. It ends with a traditional or American cake provided by you or included in the menu. It's time to celebrate the bride and groom with a glass of Champagne. You wanted to provide this Champagne yourself. Perhaps it was given to you by a member of your family or by one of your friends... It doesn't matter! You have the possibility. In return, the restaurant asks you for the principle of a so-called “corkage” fee for each opened bottle. Then the party is in full swing until late at night with its procession of songs, dances and games. In the early morning, the traditional onion soup that you have reserved for us is served to you, in the “good manner” in order, as we say in our country, “to put the postmen back on their bikes”. The party ends. It’s time for assessments and accounts. But if this wonderful event took place without any “slip” or “breakage” of any kind, the invoice turns out to be without any unpleasant surprises, respecting to the nearest cent, the amount of the services defined in advance on the estimate.
