At 1,300m in the heart of the Aravis mountains, Le Gîte du Passant is yours alone for your wedding: no other reception on the same day, no cut-off time for the evening's celebrations, and your loved ones staying right on site for a real weekend spent together. A chef cooks fresh, seasonal produce on the premises, and we're with you every step of the way so all you have to do is enjoy your day.
The reception room accommodates up to 110 seated adult guests while retaining a dedicated dance floor.
Choose an outdoor ceremony surrounded by the mountains or an indoor celebration: a 120 m² space provides an elegant alternative in case of rain or cold weather.
Two parking areas are located near the chalet. Final access is on foot or by 4x4, with logistical assistance provided by the venue.

Le Gîte du Passant is accessible year-round by road, with on-site parking for you and your guests. It's about 45 minutes from Annecy and under an hour from Geneva, a genuine mountain escape, with no hassle getting there. A 4x4 shuttle service is available on site, operated by Le Gîte du Passant. Tucked away outside the village, Le Gîte du Passant has to be earned: the final stretch is on foot from our car parks, or by our own 4x4 vehicle. An unusual arrival that's very much part of the experience of the place.

The Gîte du Passant is accessible by road year-round, with on-site parking. Located at an altitude of 1300m, between Cluses and Annecy, less than an hour from Geneva, it offers a change of scenery yet is easily accessible for your guests.
Combien de personnes pouvons-nous accueillir, et où dorment nos invités ?
The venue can accommodate up to 110 seated guests (130 standing) for receptions, and up to 100 people can stay overnight in 10 bedrooms. Your loved ones won't have to leave after the party: you'll experience a real weekend together.
