Originally rebuilt in 1800 by Napoleon’s Minister of the Interior for his daughter, the château has undergone a meticulous two-year renovation. Guests are welcomed into a harmonious dialogue between heritage and design: 200-year-old oak floors and 19th-century furnishings sit alongside 1960s Murano chandeliers, velvet sofas and refined contemporary pieces.
With over 1,500 sqm of living space across three floors, the château offers a variety of elegant settings for a wedding celebration - from intimate ceremonies to candlelit dinners and late-night gatherings. Four living rooms, a grand dining room, a spacious kitchen, sweeping staircases and even a dancing cellar create a unique and versatile backdrop for every moment of the celebration.
The property accommodates up to 47 guests across 24 bedrooms and 22 bathrooms, allowing for a fully private and immersive experience shared with close friends and family.
Outdoors, the enclosed park unfolds over eight acres of lush greenery, with bicentennial trees and winding paths - offering a naturally beautiful setting for open-air ceremonies, cocktail receptions and long summer dinners under the sky.
A 25-metre heated saltwater pool, a wood-fired Nordic bath and a secluded sauna invite moments of relaxation throughout the celebration weekend.
The château is perfectly suited for intimate weddings of up to 50 guests, for which we offer a fully private, turnkey experience. In-house catering and service managed by our dedicated team, we can also recommend photographers, florists, and other trusted partners, though there is no obligation to use them.
For larger weddings, typically from 60 up to 125 guests, a professional wedding planner is required to coordinate the event. In these cases, the estate can accommodate outdoor receptions with elegant tents and structures, and we are happy to recommend trusted providers who can manage installations and logistics. For additional guests, we would be happy to recommend more than 60 rooms in 4-star hotels in Sancerre, ensuring comfortable accommodation for your remaining guests.
